The brick project

This project was in a really nice-sized Jersey City backyard. There was an existing red brick patio that was having sinking issues and the clients wanted replaced. There was also a wooden retaining wall that was rotting out and needed to be replaced as well as some old artificial grass.

We also had to take care of some drainage issues and provide planters as the clients were enthusiastic gardeners.

 

It was decided we could reuse the really nice old red bricks after we cleaned them up for the retaining wall and garden beds and then go with bluestone for the new patio and lastly install some fresh artificial grass.
